Tattoos

Has anyone found themselves drooling over Jason Derulo lately? Haven't you? Well, I have and I have excellent reasons why.

Firstly, I'm pretty sure that I've listened to The Other Side and Talk Dirty more than 20 times this past week! I know the words to both songs, however, the dance is seriously difficult, so Jason how do you do it? Yesterday, Jason released his third single off his new album Tattoos and I'm completely in love with the song and the video itself. It's so real and fun.

Featuring in the video alongside Derulo is his real-life girlfriend Jordin Sparks. The title is perfection because of we, their fans think that this is their ultimate wedding tune because they've been in the honeymoon phase like forever now and we are curious on whether we hear wedding bells in the future. Hopefully, we are because we are apart of your relationship, Jason, and Jordin; don't forget that.

So I'm gonna stop babbling and say that you should scroll down and listen to this upbeat greatest wedding proposal video. Listen to it. Feel the vibe and really DIG IT!

Closed Hearts

Before I start, please pardon my language but I just don't give a damn right now
What has this world come to seriously?
There's so much crap going happening in every corner of the world;
That we've lost all hope and concern for other people's lives
Please guess what this titled post is based on because I can't take it anymore
So many cold-blooded killers roaming this frail earth massacring innocent lives
It hasn't been long, everyone knows about this
It's been on the news and we can't hide away from it unfortunately
Fucking little merciless murderers walked into a mall and targeted harmless souls
Too many were lost, too many that were ready to bring in the next generation
Gloomy clouds have been hanging over the continent of Africa
Why hunt those that are defenseless
Is it possible for humans to hold such a grudge for that long and stay harmless beings for revenge?
Is it really worth it though?
Forgive the foul language that I've used but I've had enough
We can't keep living like this, surely we can't be ok with this way of life
The pictures shown of kids fleeing for their lives saddened the lives of the world
So public, so vulnerable; you couldn't have arranged a worse time, you ignorant fools
See now, I don't hate you because fact is I don't know you
I just despise you, take it personally because you deserve it but they didn't deserve what you did to them
So to all you exterminators, I hope you rot safely wherever you are
You've left us no choice except moan for the loved ones that you have stripped us of

Meet Shatter & Hendrix

So I'm a proud owner of two guitars. One being an Ashton black acoustic guitar called Shatter. And other is a Red Transparent, Rosewood Fender Modern Player Jaguar electric named after one of my all time favourite guitarists Jimi Hendrix.

In the course of the summer, I've been incredibly lazy with my music and I'm sure that my music teachers aren't going to be ecstatic with the results. Seeing as I have no piece to handle in for my coursework cause of the distressful writer's block that's hung over me throughout these past six weeks. Chris, my guitar teacher is gonna flip when I begin lessons and I haven't learned my songs. So seeing as I'm approaching the most important number for teenagers, the number 16 on Wednesday; I've decided to engross my life in music.

I feel like this year hasn't been the best for me. I've gone through discoveries, I've fallen on my face, ass, back, belly multiple times and I regret none of those times. Though I feel like music has had my back through those struggles. I'm still on the course of self-discovery and I do believe that I will get there someday but for now, music is all I have. It's the one thing that won't wound me.

With my music, I want to be able to  play, write, read, listen, sing, live, breath and maybe record it. I want to challenge myself to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. Whether it's being a daughter, sister, blogger, musician or dreamer. I will give it all I've got.

Is It Called Sex Ed In The USA?

Hiya long time, no see? So in class well my PSE class, I don't know what the Americans call it but this is what we call it and well we've started talking about the S.E.X and you can't believe what my innocent friends have heard and said.

Every lesson is 50 mins but you know what I love this class, not because of topic but because of the personalities that are involved. We have no bad sides, except when you don't shut your mouth when your told to; then you'll get cussed but we are all good kids. Ahaha back to topic,
so our teacher asked us What Makes A Good Relationship and this were our replies:

    1. Respect - you need respect in every relationship cause if you don't then you might as well end it there and then
    2. Friendship - every relationship starts off as a friendship. We don't want friends with benefits who can't deal with their flipping emotions once they get dumped or something else
    3. Loyalty - what's a relationship without loyalty?
    4. A sense of humor - I love guys who have a good sense of humor, I'm not gonna stick in a relationship if you can't make me laugh no matter how fit you are. If you can't make me laugh or at least crack jokes, then I'm sure you know where the door is...
    5. Love - what is love... I'm sure you know the song, if not go to the video web thingy and type Ashanti ft Fat Joe
    6. Communication - this is a defo in a relationship. You can't be a couple if you never speak to each other, you aren't trying to break a word records you know
    7. Determination - if you want to relationship to last
    8. Responsibility - relationships can't be one sided. There's a good reason why two people are involved, you're both responsible for trying to make it work and other things that I can't say
    9. Openness - you have to be open to each other. No lies nor secrets
    10. Good sex - so I'm the one said this but what would I know?

Unfortunately, this is all I have for today. Remember to be safe, don't do imprudent things just because others are doing them or being pressured to. You are someone, stand up for yourself! Teen pregnancy is another topic for another day. P.s if you're ever around in London, come visit Sydenham School and observe our lessons.

9/11

It was a day like this. But the way it ended was undeserved.
Today we mark 12 years
12 years to face the woeful fact that you're not here with us
We woke up the morning not knowing what would occur
Because if we knew you were going to be taken away from us, we'd have stopped you
On this extra day, 12 years ago we lost so many souls; innocents souls you know
Whilst new lives were brought into the world, others were stolen away from us
The world so cruel, so sinister that people have lost the true meaning of compassion
Struck with disclosure and horror, we observed the nauseating events that took place
All so stunning and lively lost in a tragic, grief overpowered the world
We cried as one, unable to unseen the ghastly moments that had hit us
You were supposed to return home that day after work, but you didn't and it broke our hearts
We suffered as the world but numerous times inside because you were taken from us without warning
I wonder what's the point of bringing lives into the world just for them to see this kind of discomfort?
I'm not meant to wonder about this or like this but I do
Today we mark the 12 years
12 years of grief and dejection that we feel, the hole in our hearts hasn't healed
But we haven't been alone because we carried you with us, we knew and loved you
It's truly has been long without you, we long for the sound of your laughter, your voice, your smell
Every day has been one step closer to the day we'll finally be reunited again, so hold on tight and don't let go and we'll do the same here on earth

R.I.P to the lost souls of 9/11. You're never far from our hearts.

The World And Technology

With the kind of technology we are developing, I fear that it won't be long until we forget what it's like to really interact with our fellow humans.

Living in the 21st century has its ups and downs, though the main worry to me is the technology. I see this happen all the time. At school. At home. During holidays etc. People have replaced their friends and family with technology. The addiction or obsession we've developed over our phones and advanced technology is causing a serious lack of interaction with one another.

Although we may not be able to see it now, this is a long term effect that's gradually building. We are going to lose ourselves and give our souls to technology. Offer ourselves to the things that we created. And if we don't stop that now, I'm afraid by the time everyone notices it; it'll be too late.

With everything, that's being going on lately. I decided to take a little break and randomly roam around YouTube. I went onto one of my favourite YouTubers JacksGap and I saw that they had recently watched this video called I Forgot My Phone. It basically emphasises how much the obsession we have with our phones has grown that we forget the most important things in life. And quite frankly, I don't want us to be that generation that's ruled by its inventions.

Kitty Purry...The Female Version Of Tarzan

Katy Perry has been hard at work as she debuted her newly awaited music video Roar Thursday. She obviously upgraded her closet as she took a trip in the jungle, training furiously for the final battle against her tiger. As I've been one of Perry's curious fans; I've gotta say that this is better than what I excepted. Katy Perry has always been able to make number one hits and there's no doubt that this single hasn't already made it on top of the charts.

When asked about what the song was about, Katy said: "It's a song about standing up for yourself, who can be the biggest bully in the equation is yourself and can get in your way and it's a song about speaking up for yourself and having the strength". And surely we have to agree that she's right. We are ourselves' biggest bully, not anyone else.

After having just released her third perfume Killer Queen, it seems like Katy Perry has suddenly emerged into a whole other person and I'm happy with this new yet unrevealed alter ego. Could it possibly be jungle woman? I'm glad to see Perry having discovered a new power inside of herself and knowing that she can share it with the world.

Don't forget to look out for her fourth album Prism. If Roar's a hit single, then Prism is bound to be an even bigger success. Also, go purchase her new perfume Killer Queen.

Watch if you haven't watched it yet below here.

The Perks Of Being Born On The 4 Of September

  1. 4 is an awesome number
  2. I have my favourite power ranger, Tommy; my favourite hotel manager, Mr.Moseby and an amazing superstar, Bey to celebrate with.
  3. I was born on Thursday, which happens to be the 4th day during the week. Well, that's if the week doesn't start on Sunday as I still get confused on the day the week actually begins.
  4. This is the 4th comment, I'm making showing that I have no clue what I'm on about. I just love my day and month.

My Sock Obsession

Is it alright if I have an obsession with socks? I mean everyone has their weird obsessions, so I'm sure mine's pretty average.

I love socks! Maybe it's because I recently had a fear of feet, I got so into them but oh well. So anyway I have this ritual where I buy new socks every week, and to be honest I don't think that's very healthy for me!

I thank whoever invented SOCKS! You saved my life! Socks are so pretty, comfy and fashionable. You need to get crazy over them! RIGHT NOW!

Fuzzy socks, a gift from above ^^
