Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor

Who knows Tyler Perry? Who knows about Tyler Perry? Who knows about Tyler Perry's movies? Actually, this is the right question to ask. Who knows who Madea is? Don't you? Lesson time!

Well, some of us know that Tyler Perry writes some kiss ass movies. Legendary movies with some of the world's greatest actors. He's a true master of writing. He creates something mesmerizing when his pen touches pen and it definitely worth every moment. I think that I've watched just about every Tyler Perry movie there is and each one has taught me a real lesson but in a funny way.

Tyler's most notable character is Madea. She's like the glue to every situation. She's one hell of a woman. Funny. Independent. Crazy. Everything men look for in women, she's got it. However, this movie is different. I was certainly surprised to see Kim Kardashian in the movie but I've got give her props for her part. She just might make it into the film industry. This movie is truly worth watching. It's inspiring and sexy. The cast of A star actors who really know how to captivate their audience.

I think that in every Tyler Perry movie that I've seen, I've always learned something new and learned from my mistakes. He manages to take real life situations and turn them into a movie but somehow still remembers not to make it up too much. He wants a realness in the film and he gets it.

The temptation is one movie that you've got to watch this year!

Last Night

Last night I think half of my friends went out to parties including me. But what happened to me was... I don't even know how to describe it. So lemme tell you, why I went to the party in the first place.

It was my uncle's 40th birthday. (Not that he looks 40!) The party was held in a huge hall, so you can imagine a number of people and fun. The music was unbelievable! It was pretty epic because my uncle and his buddies were dancing for the whole time.

Awesome 40th birthday ever!

Can you figure out the message?

The World & Its Sports

What I've learned in my 15 years of being on this earth is that this world is clearly obsessed with its sports. Especially on occasions like these, there are several sports going on and all are important. So lemme give you a few on the ones I know are taking place.

Wimbledon obviously!  This is a huge event in the tennis calendar and in mine of course because I play tennis. One match that I'm excited to watch is the one happening between Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Jérémy Chardy of France. Djokovic, who's currently the world's number 1st has been giving out performances which have given off an impression of a clear win going to the Serbian. Whilst Chardy, who's currently ranking 28th has also been proved to get talent and hope for France. However, anyone who plays against Djokovic needs to be on point if they want to guarantee themselves a win against him.

Off to rugby now. British and Irish Lion against Australia in Melbourne tonight. This is a chance for history to be made. Since I'm British, I'm supporting the home team and will keep up with the results. If the British and Irish Lions will this tournament, history will be made and this is will be the moment they look back in 25 years and be proud of. Both teams have had to deliver a great show to get to where they are. Both have to play their best because of no one's sure who'll win, all we can do it hope for the best. I'm not really into rugby because it seems a bit too violent compared to wrestling, but then again I don't think it'll hurt to watch one match.

Tour De France! The anticipated cycle for the whole year. I don't even know how people can cycle that far. It's astounding. I've never really seen the whole of the race but I've heard the news. Like the time Lance Armstrong got stripped of his titles for apparent doping after winning Tour de France seven consecutive times. However, I'm like someone like to do you know. It's not impossible but then again I don't really know that much about the rules of the race, so it's not my place to pass judgment.

So there are the main three sports going on this weekend that I know about. There's also golf but I don't get it because people seem happy when they go into negative numbers. So I'm completely baffled about that whole sport, even though my brother plays it. I still don't get it!

Bonne chance à tous!

A Month Of School

I'm pretty sure that summer has already arrived in the UK but unluckily for us, it seems like it's not yet ready to blossom. We are still in school with exactly a month left, though I don't see why we can't start our summer now because we have nothing left to learn. Except the fact that the schools are gonna try to squeeze more information into our heads and probably think that we'll still remember it by the time we start school again in September. Will we?

The weather here is depressing. I don't remember when the sun last appeared. Conversely, today might be the at day again seeing as Wimbledon's taking place today. Hopefully, the sun's come out. I really hope so!

Summer Ideas

  • Make a summer playlist. Music hasn't been too bad this year, artists have released some pretty sick tunes that'd go well with the sun, beaches, and raves. So why not make a playlist of your own and have a mini rave at your house.
  • Learn a new skill. With six weeks off school, what better way to use them than to learn a new skill. You can do anything you want like; play the guitar, ride the tricycle or play the harmonica.
  • Go to a concert. Summer concerts are what everyone looks forward to. We've already had Coachella in the USA and now it's time for the Glastonbury festival in the UK. These are some of the events you can go to and experience the love of music and what it does to people.
  • Get a job. If you wanna go places, which I think most of us will want to do. Then get a job and save up the money for the travel you wanna do instead of begging your parents like pathetic irresponsible people.  This way you can prove them you're independent and maybe they'll give you money without you requesting for it.
  • Visit a theme park. This is the best way to spend a day out with some friends. Go to a different theme park every once in a while. There are so many in the world, so your options are endless. Ride new rides and conquer your theme park fears if you have any!
  • Have fun. It is summer after all. So don't forget an essential thing. HAVE FUN! With your friends and family because they are the most important people in your life and no one can ever replace them.
Remember that when the next year is upon us, you'll be a year older and wiser. Therefore, you'll have to clean up your act. If it's bitchy, rude and conceited, then that you should automatically tell you that it's not gonna pass and people will give up on you if you don't change your attitude. You still have time to create yourself. Thank God for every day that you wake up and you're still breathing. Thank him for everything but don't put him in the back of your mind and forget about him; then call out to him when you want something.

This song here below is amazing. I always blast it out for the last two weeks before school finishes. Never gets old.

Wimbledon 2013

Something is terribly wrong if all tennis players that rank in the top 10 are getting slammed by players who are ranking in 100s; not that they are awful.

I mean I was so hype about this year's Wimbledon men's tournaments but it looks like all the potential opponents are being devoured. Must be like some sort of secret mission. So far, Nadal, Tsonga and Federer are out of the running. Which is certainly disappointing!

However, I think that they've just had a bad fall. Roger Federer was beaten by a player who currents rank 116th aka Sergiy Stakhovsky. Federer's tennis career is certainly one to be proud, seeing as he destroyed Andy Murray in the men's finals last year. But no worries to you guys, you're great and everyone knows that. You have next year again to redeem yourselves and I'll be behind you 100%.

In other news, turning to the women's side of the tournament  It looks like my tennis female hero Serena Williams is doing a tremendous job during her matches. Her last match, she played against Mandy Minella from Luxembourg and won in both sets with 6 whilst Minella managed to deliver 1 and 3 after the staggering match.

The next match for Williams is today at 1pm. So bloggers, give the blogging world a rest and keep your eyes peeled on the match. Happy Thursday!

Chernobyl

The Chernobyl disaster was an appalling nuclear accident that took place on April the 26th 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine.

Now, why do I know about this? Simple. Well, I was doing work experience yesterday and then one of my co-workers Pauline; said she wanted to visit Chernobyl. My boss, Grant agreed to leave me baffled in my own thoughts. So he showed me the Chernobyl disaster and I was flabbergasted.

Apparently, the area is sort of now like a tourist zone, which I might one day travel to see because in someway I was really inspired yet felt great sadness for those that lost their lives that day. The people of Ukraine are still trying to recover from that traumatic day, even though it's been 27 years. Grieve is a dangerous feeling, one that you can't wish away.

La Caída De Rafael Nadal

It's was a devastating match to watch. Seeing as the world Rafael Nadal who's currently ranking 5th was thrashed by Belgian player Steve Darcis. The hopeful souls that sat in Wimbledon witnessed a truly historical moment that will be talked about for years to come.

The Spanish player lost the match in straight sets to the Belgian player.

However, we can't let this one loss let us lose sight of what we know Nadal's really capable of. Of course, we all know that in every man's success; there will always be a huge loss and maybe this is Nadal's. We know that he'll strike back 10 times ever more next time. He's better than this and we all know it.

I'm definitely pissed, though. I miss one day of watching Wimbledon and these are the results! What the hell?

Let It Go

We're a lost cause, we're the next generation
We need to let go of the struggle left by our ancestors
To build a successful world, we can't bear carrying wounds from the previous world
To flourish as a remarkable generation, we shall learn to be careful
Not to repeat the troubles the generations before us have constantly made
We can start by educating ourselves to know what's right from wrong
Not that we don't already know it but we've been so undermined, we've lost belief in ourselves
When you're letting go, remember to...
Stay focused, have fun and forget the past; you left the past in the back so don't drag it on
Being a lost cause has its advantages and disadvantages, we are the lost generation
The immortal generation, carefree and sick; living on the edge of the world
The lost cause, the next generation
We need to let go of the struggle left by our ancestors
And make our own world, our very own Utopia

Utopia definition from the Urban Dictionary -  a theoretical "perfect" realm, in which everyone is content, where things get done well by people who are happy to do them, and where all the problems which have plagued our world for millennia no longer apply. whoever came up with the idea was drunk, stoned, tripping or insane. maybe all four.

What To Think About Whilst At Work Experience

Work Experience?

Is it your dream job?

How is it different from school?

Are you having fun?

Think tens year from now, who do you want standing next to you?

Are you content with what you already have or do you want more?

Are you a firm believer?

Did you go through the two weeks on your own?

Are you ready to change?

Have you found yourself?

Please be honest with me. It's tragic that we've grown so far apart and lost faith in each other. We weren't meant to grown. It's not how movies work, but this is reality and I wish you the best. I believe in you.

Do you believe in yourself?

Have you found peace yet?

The Return Of Hannah Montana

So I hear people have been giving Miley hell because of her new song but I'm like STFU, you unimportant people. You hate change so you take it out of someone who's worked so hard to get to where they are and try to tear them down.

What you need to get into your heads is that Miley isn't the Disney girl anymore! She's grown not because she's wanted to but because she simply had to. It's the Circle of Life! She's a lot more headstrong and controversial. So what? She's given you guys a lot and it doesn't seem fair if you don't respect her wishes in return.

In some kind of way, her new song was a way to show people that she's older and that she isn't Hannah Montana anymore although she'll always be the girl with the best of both worlds at heart. So what are your opinions on We Can't Stop?

I'm in love with the song! I think in some way it's a completely different side to the Miley which is incredible; we've always claimed to know her however the new Miley we see in the video is more carefree and crazy.  I will always love Miley. Why? Because I've loved her since Hannah Montana and I'm simply not gonna bail on her just because I don't like one thing she does. It's her life, not mine!  Oh, we're getting off topic, back to the song. The song has a Dance, Pop and some R&B beat vibes to it which make it the ultimate club song. I've been reviewing the song with my friend Ashley and she said "I love it!! It's mad and crazy but that's what makes it good! I love Miley."

This isn't a kind of song that would be requested on radio, it's certainly very rare. In some odd ways, the song is definitely weird but stupidly smart, it portrays a new Miley is partying harder but still knows where her heart lies. Although it's strange, we can't deny the fact that it's contagious and wonderful. So shut up and enjoy the music.

Dear idiotic people, you claim to know the truth about celebrities. No, you don't, so I plead that you shut your poisonous traps. You enjoy tormenting people just for the fun of it and when the stone is turned; you claim to be the victim but you need to remember that you were the predator before your prey finally perked up the courage to hunt you down.

"To my homegirls here with the big butts/Shaking it like we at a strip club/Remember only God can judge us/Forget the haters cause somebody loves ya

True Art

Russell Howard is truly epic! You all need to watch his show Russell Howard's Good News because that show is a complete genius! Anyways I watched it yesterday and his mystery guest was a lady called Boyarde Messeger, who was an artist that painted women's bum. Her art is extremely SICK! I was so inspired, I learned more about what she did and well... here's a preview of some of her extraordinary work.

No New Friends

I used to think the world was against me
Wore a cold heartless expression upon my face
The fact that my outfits weren't great nor fashionable either said a lot
I wasn't always like this, I was simply forced to become this person
With people always lying and leaving, you lose focus and trust
The point of living suddenly evolves into a mystery
And you're left in the blazing desert to search for the answer
You lose and gain friends, but the hole within you deepens with every loss
The ones that you gain, you must now learn to attach yourself to them
To avoid the past from repeating itself, you take every opportunity thrown your way
Sadly, it doesn't work out and that's another life to wave goodbye to
They may label you as a heinous bitch, but ignore them; you've been through enough
Go on and live your life, those who label you are the ones that will come crawling back to you
To the friends that have stayed with you throughout the ups and downs of life
"Cheers to them"
These are the kind of challenges, the Creator throws at you to see whether you can handle it
You will have days when you feeling like giving up and locking yourself up and crying
But darling, don't give into the failures; you are so much better than all of them
When you look around you and see what great company surrounds you, be grateful
Because the heinous bitch got through it all with the support people around her
Same old friends, no new friends; same old troubles along with new ones
It's only because people like us have seen a lot and know what lies behind it
We can't go around making new friends because we can't bail on the old ones
That's just how we live our lives, we get names like that because of
Our attitude, the way we dress and the crowds we hand with, no new friends
Just old friends

So much to say, So little time to say it in

I have so much to tell you guys! As you know I'm from an obsessed sports family, well... I arrived home from Youth Alpha to find that Spain was smashing Tahiti 10 to O! Is that even bloody possible? Well... apparently as of yesterday, it is. The Spanish know how to deliver  I know that because during the 2012 World Cup Finals; I happened to be in Spain during the finals with a few people from my year group. We were privileged to witness history being made and we were proud to be a part of it. We saw how the Spanish celebrated, which I tell you was truly mesmerizing! However, this was just utter disappointment that Tahiti wasn't able to strike back, not even one single goal! You can't go on knowing that you go be 10 to 0, that's unreal and unacceptable. Hopefully, this will show Tahiti to always step up their game and involve their confidence, I guess. Bien Hecho España!

We're off to basketball. I haven't really been keeping with this which is rather sad. Although I've been more or less been helped with my brother's screams of encouragement to his team Miami Heat. I'm not a huge fan because I have my own team but the Heat have special butt whoopings for each time they come across and this time it was for San Antonio Spurs. Heat won by 95 to 88, which doesn't exactly qualify as a tear joke but it shows that Spurs tried. So well done for trying Spurs! As for Heat, it's always an honour to see you in your zone. Focused and Determined but you ain't got nothing on us Lakers. Oh, and by the way, Hi Lebron, great work on being named MVP. You guys played a skillful final!

The Final Day

Today we had Sports day and for my year (Year 10) it was the last sports day we are ever gonna have!  Seeing as next year, we are going to be sitting our final exams. Although half the year was against it, in the beginning, we ended up having fun and creating lots of memories.

I participated in the Wellie Throw, which in my opinion is a dumb sport and also took part in the relay. Now the Wellie throw. Who now earth created that sport? Why would you want to throw a wellie? What on earth would possess you to throw a wellie in a net? I might be hating of this sport because I have a bad aim which I think is the true reason. But oh well, I still think it's stupid!

The relay was crazy! I came like an hour late, so one of my classmates had done my performance, and well they put me up for the relay. Which I'm fine with seeing as I've done relay since Year 7. It was an epic race! Now my class has a problem, we are always last; well technically we don't think it's bad because as long as we had fun, then yeah. What we don't do is give in the points like this year, we had no idea what place we came. Great!

Our last races are the best! We have Tug of War for the students, parents vs teachers Tug of War and teachers against parents in 100 meters  These are the races that people come for because you get to see your teacher in another world, the fun world. They always seem so serious at school, but during sports day it's like they are someone completely different!

The end has final. We always knew it would but not so soon. I regret nothing because regrets aren't good for the mind as they set you back. Though fun can still be experienced, I have to be mature because I'm entering the real world. Today was the last day of a whole school. We have some future Olympians that raced amongst us which was impeccable.

Happy Sports Day Sydenham School! Thursday 20 June 2013.
