R.I.P To The Black Boys of 2 0 1 4

"A riot is the language of the unheard." Martin Luther King

To all the black boys that we've lost in 2014
We are deeply saddened by your loss,
Especially when you all had such a bright future ahead of you that was suddenly cut short
We don't know the secret that death holds nor can we unveil the mystery of light
Death is feared because it's depressing and heartbreaking;
Only because it possesses the gate to eternity
If death was kind, you wouldn't have faded
Your lives were stolen by those who are supposedly eager to protect us,
Yet they made no hesitation when they shot you 12 times
You lived the life with the fact that death will never enter your heart... that's a well-lived life
Respectful of others, noble and thankful of the people that surrounded you
We have found the secret of life, guys,
The secret is that nothing in life that exists ever dies
When you died, we rose up, hardly without any sleep and protested for your justice
It's not and wasn't fair that those that cheated you of your lives were let to walk free just because they wore a badge
I doubt it would've been the same if the roles were reversed
We all know that we would have paid the price for stealing someone's life, so what are they implying by letting a white officer walk free for the 3rd time?
Thousands joined in the marches for your justice, it was done peacefully in the memory  of you
You didn't sing your song as you had no idea that you'd return home so early;
For even you couldn't stop death, he didn't 'kindly' stop for you sadly
I write this because it's a parable for immorality for our black boys
You're no longer in our sights, neither are you diminished in our hearts
We can't breathe... we won't tolerate it any longer

Always remember Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin

We can't go back into the ways of the 1960s.
We've worked too hard to get this far and I'm not accepting that we are moving backwards.

This is NOT a MOMENT, but rather a MOVEMENT

A Day Til Christmas

The day before Christmas is called what...?
I'm sure it's called something but we're probably too busy doing some last minute shopping
Or helping out with Christmas cake, just so we can lick the pan
Don't fret about the amount of present wrapping you have to do
Rather look forward to the amount presents you'll receive tomorrow

Do you hang your stockings up?
Do you leave Santa milk and cookies or a pint of beer?
Besides the open gate, do you slyly wait up hoping to catch a glimpse of him and his reindeer?
Is it a white Christmas, so we are going build a snowman or is it just plain cold?

No worries.
This is the typical British weather, we rarely get snow nowadays for Christmas
However, the Christmas shows make up for it
Snuggle up with your family tomorrow, around the tv and debate what to watch
Forget the misfortunes that you've had the past year
In just a matter of days, it will be the day before New Years'
And you'll get another chance to start all over again
But all we can do for now... is wait.

S...14/12/14

But really, I just hate the fact that we've been friends for so long and now we can't even say 'hi' to each other
We went from everyday texting to nothing, unless I built up the courage to ask you 'how you were doing...'
And I can't even look you in the eye or let myself be near you for more than 2 minutes without my mind racing back through the memories
You were the one person that I thought I was going to have around forever;
You told me yourself that you'd always be there for me and I for you
I shouldn't be sad because life doesn't always go according to plan,
Hell, you taught me that...
I saw it in your eyes; the last day we were alone for the last time
After that, you simply just disappeared...
You stopped making appearances or checking up on me, leaving me to put in the effort
Things were changing but I was just too naive to see that I was no longer the person you were going to stay up all night texting
So, let's face it... we're not friends anymore
I used to never let myself get close to people but I couldn't keep that with you
We've been through so much...but fcuk it
I'm going to give you up for my own good, I'm going to find a new friend for myself
I'm going to learn to let myself be vulnerable again and find someone to tell all my secrets to once more
However, it's only fair that I keep our 'mutual' friend's wish and tolerate you when I see you
Because maybe...we'll be friends again...Maybe
But for now, I'm moving on with life and finally accepting that we are now just...
Strangers with some memories

BLACK LIVES MATTER TOO!

She's just lost her husband and his kids have lost their father. Are you happy now!?

This is the second time around that a cop has been freed after stealing someone's life. I don't agree with such ignorance. The police is not above the law, they should be tried just like everyone else. Stop giving fucking free passes to people just because they wear a fucking badge.

What's the point of the police, if they don't protect those of minor ethnicity?  You lot are all about trust and respect...well how the hell are you going to get it if you acting like this!?

Open Letter To The Whites & Blacks

I'm not American. But I am African. So I do get a say in what happens to those of my African heritage, and also the FACT that 'freedom of expression' is an ESSENTIAL human right!

Wake Up, America! Don't you see what's happening? We are not moving forward but merely going back in time.Going backwards to something that people so vigilantly fought for and lost their lives as it only seems that some people get it and others don't...

It seems as if that those who are prosecuted for their crimes have no powerful connections but those that don't even make it to trial like Officer D are freely allowed to walk out because they are either on the 'FORCE' that's constantly justifying its actions as being right. Or is it to do with colour? As I recall that the Civil Rights Movement was meant to end shit like this and the Human Right Act 1998 has some crap about how everyone deserves a fair trial... but where's the trial for Darren Wilson; that we, the people are passionately protesting for? How is Mike Brown going to receive HIS JUSTICE!?

Recently, in the UK, we suffered a great loss. One that struck the heart of several Britons. Surely, such a crime shouldn't go unpunished and it didn't. The perpetrators weren't humans but psychopaths, simply masking their horrific actions with their religion. No, you can't FUCKING do that! Though the family got JUSTICE and the country got closure... on that same day... a young, lovely boy lost a father. A father that would never see him accomplish great things.

I'm not saying that this officer deserves a life sentence because he doesn't. He at least deserves to stand a 'fair trial' that the American constitution so passionately stands for. It's as if people of such authority can get free passes just because they are apart of something gigantic. The world has already suffered so many losses at the feet of 'the authority', why prolong JUSTICE for Mike Brown? Wake Up, America! This isn't the 1960s!

You can't ask for the unrest to stop if JUSTICE isn't being served right. I get that people's lives are constantly being robbed of them but this is important because this is not the first time that 'the authority' have stolen the life of a young African-American and walked away free. Understand that NO ONE is ABOVE the law or do those of higher power make an exception where its one of theirs being prosecuted!? Do we still need to teach the whole 'a black person killing a white people' needs to face a trial and jail and 'a white person killing a black person' needs to face a trial and jail when they kill someone. It's not right! #revoltforjustice

12 shots is not self-defense but rather overkill! Get it right!!

My intention wasn't to be racist but rather to present the fact that our lives should matter to the point that when it comes facing the consequences we aren't given the same respect when it comes to the law of enforcement as well as same respect in general.  BLACK LIVES MATTER TOO! But if you're still oblivious or ignorant to my true intention, then piss off. There's too much injustice going on in the world today.

"Doesn't take 100 days to decide if murder is a crime, it take 100 days to figure out how to tell people it isn't... #fergusondecision" Chris Rock

I’m not brave any more, darling. I’m all broken. They’ve broken me. Ernest Hemingway

And he was right, I mean, I tried so hard to understand; and I eventually did in the end.

But that was the problem...life doesn't have to be fair. I am sad, however...

No. I'm not yet living my dream. And. It's. Heartbreaking... but please,

You have already broken me. I don't need your  apologies... or maybe I do. This is our life, below here...

I am broken. I am no one. I am but myself. I am myself, though. I am not brave. And. That. Breaks. My Heart.

  But I will

I refuse to let myself think that the world is better off without me. There's a reason God made me. There's he made you.
We, humans, need constant fixing... we can't help it... I'm sorry to disappoint. I know I'm not fixed. But then again who is? Humans aren't cars, we can't just go in and be fixed straightaway.
