Undone

He was quiet, vulnerable but persistent
Hazel eyes with a dash of blue in them, brown hair that swept over one eye
He might have fooled the rest of the world but certainly not me
Broken, alone but firm
He didn't know where he was headed or what he wanted
His yellow truck parked in the parking lot spoke more than him
Ripped black jeans, white converse, navy blue shirt
Head bowed down, hands crossed though angry filled his eyes
He was no ordinary boy, he was a lost boy whom the world had deserted
On a mission of vengeance, he'd lost all hope
What was worse was that the place that he sat in thought they could help him
He'd faced pain, the kind of pain that people spent their lives running from
All was lost, rage and hate were his friends, his family
Mysterious, confused but crying out for help
Boy got in his yellow truck and drove away in the scorching sunset
With a whole road in front of him, so many opportunities
Yet isolated from the humans of the earth
I could say that he noticed the simplest of things
But what if he passed away, who'd remember him?
Would the people at the center care enough to light a candle in his honour?
Head held high, eyes filled with an undersized sign of hope
Skateboard on the side, black vans, blue and white striped shorts, white vest top
The misjudged boy stood on his skateboard, skated til he wasn't in sight anymore
He's got a whole road in front of him, nothing but opportunities
Though he wasn't fully healed, he realized that life went on and what happened can't be undone
