Get your pen and begin to write,

Anything in your mind,

Anything in your sight. 

Anything that you can find.

Here are some steps for you to find,

I hope you put them in your mind,

It's all about a family fight,

I hope I bought this book to life.

Grab a bus and ride away,

Away from your troubles left astray

But soon they will find you.

Say goodbye to your loved life

And begin the journey of a knife

Get your pen and begin to write,

To tell the story about 

YIN and YANG

You have to start from 

The very BANG!

Shipwrecked in a foreign land

Was just how it all began but now I am

The new YIN and YANG

It all seems so sudden

But to bring a book to life

It doesn't matter what you do

Just make sure that you write!

Why you should write books

and why you should read!

To write or read 

It's your chance to 

Travel and review the world

Inspire youngsters with their dreams 

So brighter futures can be seen

From now on

You'll never be forgotten

And books will never become rotten

So if you really want to write a book,

Have a go, I wish you luck

Take a  chance

You'll be the hero that brought books to life

Your books will be in stores inspiring the world

Day and night

So don't forget to write and read

I was in Year 7 at the time and this was a book convention or something, where a few of us were selected to meet author Donavan. He was pretty sick and epic.
