The Great Gatsby

Starring one of my all time favourite actors, Leonard DiCaprio. This is one that shouldn't have been missed, so if I 'm right; you'll should have bought cinema tickets to watch The Great Gatsby. Right? If you haven't then you're mean and you do you know that The Great Gatsby might be one of the books you read for English. 

This movie was a remake of a well known incredible book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It's an astonishing book that I recommend everyone reads! I'm a reader. I love my books. So if you have any recommend me some. Back to the film, so the film was on May 10, 2013, and my friends and I went a week later to watch Fast and Furious 6 but snuck in to watch Gatsby and I thought it was a pretty well-done adaption. Unlike some movies, when they are film adaptions of books; they leave out crucial information but this one tried to squeeze everything in perfectly. 

The actors that were chosen to play the roles were the perfects fits for the characters. It's very rarely that directors these days make remakes of movies from the 1920s' and manage to make the film itself captivating but this was one hell of a job. Though I have to say that I was pretty stunned when it came to the music because they put modern artists on the soundtrack rather than music from the 1900s'. Overall I was impressed with the soundtrack and the was the artist send their songs, it really made me feel like I had lived in the 20th century, which I had but barely remember.  

Sum up the film adaption of the Great Gatsby 2013 in one word: REMARKABLE.
