I've recently developed a growing love for independent artists. I don't know why but I just have because I feel like they are different in a way that record label signed artists aren't. Independent. Artists. Are. FREE!
Free to make the kind of music they want, when they want and how they want without any restrictions.
Now this guy, I think has been on my blog before twice if I'm correct...link are below

Looking back at those posts, damn! It's all I can say really because...well...
Anyway, I'm back now for another review on Cody and seeing as I haven't really kept up with him until my friend told me about his latest single 'Flower' that I think will be off his new album. I see that my prediction of him being huge was right as he's releasing an INDEPENDENT album!
I'm guessing that Cody Simpson left his record label because they wouldn't let them do the music he wanted...I mean that's pretty much what I assume happens. He's someone who reminds me so much of John Mayer and Jack Johnson, with his incredible acoustic songs and because my friend said he was never without a guitar during his concert. It's great that he's now making the music that he wants.
I mean 'Flower' is a freaking epic song! I bet that his third album will truly show his fans where he's headed and take them along his new journey on finding the 'real Cody Simpson' whoever that may be. Who I think is a terrific guy.
The ever so simplistic 'Flower' single art by Miley Cyrus. A somewhat graceful dying flower given a polaroid life.
I haven't grown tired of it yet and I don't think I ever will. Chill vibes all the way...
