Uncle Phil

You know fvck it. Fvck everything! Fvck life!
If this is how everything is meant to work out, then what's the point in trying?
It's obvious that we aren't winning this war and we know that we aren't meant to win it; but still...
It's a tragedy to start 2014 like this because we've already lost so many the year before
Hoping to leave it in the past, death is one thing that never ends
Though I do wish that you should've given us more time with this one because he was a special one
Uncle Phil, we grew up watching you!
It didn't matter what time it was because  we'd always find time to watch you teach Will, Carlton, Ashley and Hilary some valuable lessons, whilst they teased you but took them into account
We 90s' kids are such braggers!
We've bragged about our year being the best since people like you were around
But after hearing about your devastating departure, the world in a way broke a bit
Who are we meant to admire, despise and love all at the same time?
James Avery, better known as Uncle Phil; why did you have to leave?
We won't accept the fact that you got called home, even if that's the truth because we've been through too much heartache
Watching The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, I think was a fairy tale to kids in a way
It was so relatable and witty but educational as well
It's unfortunate and yet still real that we have to say goodbye to you today; as it seems to me like this is all a dream
(I wish it was. I really do.)
It's days like these that I feel like I'm on the verge of giving up but I know that it's not the solution
To be totally honest...
I hate life. I fvcking hate life with a strong passion!
When is comes to death, I don't give one damn about religion because I think that death is unfair
But I have to come to the terms with the fact that you'll no longer be here with us
So Uncle Phil, thank you so much for being here with us and sharing your gift with us
You're home now...
