Long Live Herbs

I bet you've heard the story of the boy who cried wolf...
But did you hear about the story of the boy that could...that could've hadn't people been so ignorant and stripped him of his life
I've seen death...I've experienced death but so has everyone
Though it's never quite the same every time
Had they known that he was of mere of 18 years
A brother and friend to so many, and now that he's been stolen from them; they will never quite be the same again
Death is never same
That's the admirable thing about it...
It's immortal, and that's why it's also the beginning
I may not have known Nathan Murray but my brother did, and so did most of my friends
We often ask ourselves again and again
"How can we protect our kids from this insufferable life?"
The truth is "we can't"

From what I've heard, Nathan was a generous, kind and loyal friend to all that knew him
It's a tragedy that he's gone
Forest Hill Boys will never be quite the same with your departure
Being a part of the school myself now; I do feel as if I've lost a dear friend
However, it's an even bigger tragedy that his friends and family have to get used to life without him
I've learned never to use words of comfort in times of sorrow
Because you're lying to yourself
Yes, you'll be okay but it will take a while...more than a while in fact
Because grief is like the ocean
It's quiet, unfair and tenacious
There's nothing romantic about death
So once again I ask,
"I bet you've heard the story of the boy who cried wolf...
But did you hear about the story of the boy that could...that could've been a tremendous accountant hadn't people been so ignorant and stripped him of his life..."

But let's not forget that life knows no sorrows nor tragedies
While we grieve the loss of one of our own
The clouds rejoice because they've just received a new angel
Party from noon til dawn now, my fellow Virgo
We'll see you soon

Rest In Peace, Herbs
