---- Goes On

I dare you to fill in the blank above this writing
I challenge you to guess what the missing word is
Of course, there are certain words that possess four letters
Though this has been the title of a song and us, ourselves tend to use it a lot
Can I feel sorry for myself or is that plain stupid?
I mean we are masked monsters pretending to care for the world so that we don't lose ownership of it
We say one thing but truly we mean something else, something far worse than what comes out of our mouth
Today I've come to the realization that we feel the need to be accepted into today's dysfunction society
We blame our kids for being themselves because we fear that they will grow up and become something better than us
Nonetheless, shouldn't we be encouraging them to mature into someone grand
Prevent them from being the experimental generation, that we, ourselves are
You may say that you've got all the time in the world to ripen into the person you were supposed to be
So you become a witless imbecile masking on different faces in front of different audiences
 But listen up
Life waits for no one, I know that from experience but I don't give a crap if you don't believe me
Life goes on and doesn't turn back or wait for you to catch up with it because if it did
; then what the hell would the point of life be?
You can't sit in corner and hope that life will take pity on you just because you've had it rough
Unfortunately so have others and if they can make a name for themselves then so can you
Therefore I want you to forget about the rest of the world, ignore their selfish lies
I want you to stop trying to impress people and just be yourself
But the most important thing, I really want you to find yourself, fix your head on properly because when you leave at least you'll know that you tried your best to live life nicely
And if you ever find me trying to be someone I'm not, then you are more than welcome to slap some sense in me
I'd hate to see you fail because it'd mean that I've failed myself as well

Write Hard And Clear About What Hurts - E. Hemingway

They tend to blame us for how we feel
And I'm alright with that because we should be able to control our emotions
But who do we blame when no one's to blame?
During our adolescent years, who is in charge of our emotions?
Do we just let the good times kick in and roll with them?
Or live a generic carefree life on a beach without worries?
Are we allowed to face up?
Accept that we are struggling and the world fading is our fault
Have we become a liability to ourselves?
Fallen victims to our feelings?
I'm so tired of the fact that we stand in view watching people leave us
I mean, not to be a downer but this is pretty much what I think about on a daily basis
Why do all the great writers die a catastrophic death?
Notable musicians and actors expire before their due date and we call it life!
I question my beliefs and suddenly I'm a worshiper of the one below
We all hurt. We all hurt in different ways.
Most of us hurt more than others
But how do we juvenile kids get over the pain?
We believe that we are invincible and immune to agony
Nonetheless, if we believed in that jut a bit more, we'd actually be what we say we are
Glancing across the views in front of us, thinking about how the other side lives
Not too differently from how you live except the fact that you have paper
But in the end, we all return to dust and become the same as we were before
Purely dust and nothing more
So read all the great books you dream of reading, travel to the cities you want to go to
Write furiously about what you feel  like I've just done because things do get better after a while
We may live inversely but if we were more attentive we'd see how loosely connected we all are to one another
Even to Ernest Hemingway

The Banksy Effect

What do you call Banksy? I call him a vandal but a talented one. I know that it's wrong to graffiti on other people's property but why do you have to make a bug deal about it. The guy is simply trying to spread some humor and creativeness around, so why proclaim that he's 'defacing' property?

We've lost so many great minds in this world. But you know why we've lost them? because we hunt them down! They become our preys whilst we are still so mad about what they've done and we learn to value them after we've arrested them or they are gone. But not this time because I'm on Banksy's side. Not only do I see his work as true art but as someone merely trying to point out what's wrong with the 21st century and last time I had we have a right to say what we want and if it's through art or 'vandalism' as you call it. Then so be it.

Recently I've Been...

  1. Getting stressed cause of all the damn coursework, I have yet to finish. So tomorrow teachers are striking because the bloody government wants them to work until they're 68 when they will fully earn their pensions; though my Year still has to attend school :(
  2. Freaking out about music! Music GCSE composition has really made me look at music in a completely different way so I don't know how I feel about music now
  3. Reading John Green books. Currently reading Looking for Alaska
  4. Looking at Sixth Forms since I'm in my last year at secondary school :P
  5. Tumblring because it's my newly found addiction and I'm proud
  6. Blasting out Jimi Hendrix like nobody's business... because it is NOBODY'S BUSINESS except mine
  7. Catching up on my sleep, sometimes in lessons; which I know isn't right but these classes are keeping me awake
  8. Online shop surfing waiting for Christmas holidays to arrive, so I can go actual shopping
  9. Arguments with friends (you know how girls are)

Remembering Bernie Mac

There are so many that pass away and go unnoticed
I'm grateful that you  weren't one of them because you were the godfather of laughter
Since I was young, I loved seeing you on the big screen
You were at your best when you were on stage with the spotlight
Treasure the company of others, you always were the stubborn one on the screen
The best thing about you was that so many of your dedicated fans could relate
You portrayed the father that every girl would've hated but loved a lot because you adored your little girl, remember in Guess Who?
I read nothing negative about you, except this
Leaving a legacy filled with nothing but contentment
You seemed like a man of few words but lots of jokes to share
On August 9, I will do a movie marathon in your honour
I hope that's alright with you because the world lost a true entertainer when you passed
We need more people like you to be honest
Witty, Compassionate and Genuine
I really hope that you read the next line, I'm about to write
Obviously you're having fun where you are but I really wish that you join me in this marathon
Grab some friends and sit on that snowy like couch that you have above
Watch your movies and reminisce about those days and we'll do the same down here
But I'm afraid that this is it for now, Bernie
Until next time...

Miley: The Movement

Any Smilers in the audience? Seen Miley's recent documentary? You should!

We may think that we know Miley Cyrus but we don't. Growing up in the spotlight isn't easy, so Miley allows us to join her on her journey of The Movement. She explains her VMAs performance. What The Movement is. How she's a control freak.

I've watched the documentary, though I only watched the 40 minute; so I think you also see the 90 minute that's debuting tomorrow on MTV. So many people have judged her throughout what she's done, saying that she's spiraling out of control but I beg to differ. I'm not one to turn against someone who've I've loved since I was young. She may not be Hannah Montana anymore but that doesn't mean that she doesn't miss it.

Thankfully she's had fans that have stuck by her during her change. I'm and always will be Smiler. I think that she's a great person who was destined for greatness, she's captured some of it but she's still got a long way to go. No matter what she does, I'll always be behind her 100%. She's such a crazy character and the future definitely looks bright and fun. So Smilers,  go ahead watch Miley:The Movement.
