I think that every teenage girl has gone through an Avril Lavigne phase because there's no bad side when it comes to her. Her songs are freaking anthems for teen girls and they are incredibly catchy and fun! So here are a few songs from the artist herself. I'm gonna start with an all time favourite of mine from her.
So according to my school, I'm officially in Year 11. Meaning that my friends and I are the top of the school and can boss the little ones around. (But we won't cause we love them.) Anyway, I thought I'd share with you lot what the options I chose for my GCSEs and whether or not I regret choosing them. Maybe after, I can give my true thought on GCSEs as well. I was given four choices and this is what I spent them on:
Music - I'm obsessed with music as you all know, so I thought that music as a GCSE was a great option and nothing could go wrong. Boy, was I wrong! I'm doing my first composition as well as my solo performance piece and with the composition; I always thought artists get writers' blocks after writing one great hit but I haven't even got one single verse on my piece of paper. So unfortunately right now, MUSIC I loathe you!
PE - I was raised in a family, where my siblings did sports. So I decided to take some up. However, the only reason I chose PE is because I thought it was all practical. Again I was proven to be incorrect and apparently the hardest piece in PE GCSE is the coursework. I understand nothing but my teacher thinks I have potential, so thanks?
History - My problem with history is minor. I just can't figure out why everything vanishes out of my head when I open the exam paper. It's rather unfair!
French - Je ne pas detéste Francais. Je n'aime pas la professeur. Cependant nous avons un nouveau et j'espére ils sont mieux que la dernière.
Obviously, I have to take the compulsory subjects as well which include: Science, Maths, English (Language and Literature), Citizenship, RE. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I have no problem doing all these subjects. The problem is that every one of these teachers and parents has so much that they expect us in each specific lesson and sometimes it just gets too much. I can see why they do it, not only because it's our last year but because they want something good for us.
I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I should be taking school and life seriously but I guess I have a problem with taking certain situations too seriously. I guess I'm at my best when I pretend that school and life are merely an illusion. If you understand this, can you please explain it to me, my mum and teachers! I'm not ignoring them. I just don't want to live life the way they want me to live it.
We used to text and probably talk about anything, but something happened and
I felt like I had no-one to turn to. And then you moved on
And...
But it wasn't! It hurt like hell to lose someone who could make you talk about nothing and feel no fear of being judged. We used to be close. But now... when we see each other, we pass on a smile but you should know that
So where do we go from here? Because I could really use a friend. I could really use someone like you.
Dear Prince George Alexander Louis, you're an extraordinary one. Welcome to the world that will one day be yours!
There are few that have caused the excitement that you've had on the world since you were born. Being born to a royal is an honour and your's the greatest yet. So much commotion about whether you were going to be a girl or a boy. And there was even more about what your name was going to be. Not a lot of countries have a royal family like ours that's loved by the whole world. Of course, your nation was speechless with joy at the announcement of your birth, camping outside your hospital for days was worth it. Now we get to watch you grow up into a magnificent person just like your parents, grandparents and great-grandmother.
All this will be yours one day. It's been ruled by several great leaders such as your great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Following in her footsteps will be a challenge but with the guidance that you have, it's already known that the difference you've just had on the world will be topped by the one you'll make in the future.
You don't have to be gay to be a supporter. You just have to be human.
Same Love - Mackelmore ft Ryan Lewis & Mary Lambert
"I support gay marriage. I believe they have a right to be as miserable as the rest of us." Kinky Friedman
"I'm not for gay marriage, but I'm not for discriminating against people." Joel Osteen
"I was against gay marriage until I realized I didn't have to get one." James Carville
"You choose to love whoever you love...It's no different than discriminating against blacks." Jay Z
"If anybody can find someone to love them and help them through a difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form." Will Smith
"Same-sex couples should be able to get married." Barack Obama
Some people are gay. GET OVER IT!
More people should listen to music like this because it's relevant to this generation and the generations that will come after us. If we just shut it out, then we aren't exactly living the way God wants us to live because he's the one who determines what's right and what isn't. And if you believe that gay marriage isn't right, then leave it up to him to act upon it.
"Equality. Absolutely. That's what defines us.It's what makes us great. And if it doesn't sit well with your religion, then let your God sort it out in the end, but that's us. We're equal." Brad Pitt
As a Christian, of course, my religion should be able to decide my decision but I believe only to a certain extent. In my decision making, I do think about WWJD and whether he'd be happy about it. I mean there's a reason he gave a free will.
These are the incredible tunes that I've been banging out for the past few days and I still love them especially Chris Brown's tune featuring Aaliyah. I've also included a track from my native country that I've been so hung up on. Hope you guys enjoy these tracks. Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE FOR THE ARE ARRIVAL OF OUR FUTURE KING! Tribute for future king, up on Wednesday :)
Hiya guys and gals, these 13 books are some that I've read throughout 2013 and I thought were all really intriguing. So I 100% recommend them to you. I think that you'll love them.
