I had a tremendous time during work experience. I mean at first, I wasn't really looking forward to it because I thought it was gonna be some random bloke ordering me about for two straight weeks. However, I was proven wrong and I'm happy that I was.
I worked at Snappy Snaps, which is at Baker Street. My boss was hilarious. Why? Well, he always managed to find a way to take the piss out of something. Altogether, there were four of us. Although, one of the co-workers I'd only seen twice; so that makes three of us that came to work on a regular basis. I'm not sure if I'm permitted to say names, so I'll call them G and P. G for the boss and P for the Polish, amusing female.
Anyway in my time at Snappy, I was taught how to develop and print film. Bloody epic! Learn about the different film, digital, and polaroid cameras, I was told that my taste in music was crap. Nonetheless, G and I had the same artists on our playlists, except that some of his artists were like unheard of; I think by some of my generation. Thus he gave me a few
artists to. Impeccable talent!
Besides, during those two weeks, I feel like I'm near to find my passion in life. It's just the fact that I'll go off the tracks once in a while, what matters is that I get back on them. Life will be a pain in the ass, that's the whole point. It's how you determine whether you're strong enough to take it on because if you don't then you'll get left behind. If you think you can't do anything or things have become impossible. Then find something worthy that you can invest your faith in and try it out a while.
We all have different ways of seeing life. My way has become seeing life in a lens, after a while of capturing the moment. I can forge the image in any way that I want because I know that it will never change. What I took from those sensational two weeks is that there are gonna be people that piss you off... a lot but you can't let that get to you. You've gotta learn how to be in control of your emotions. Watching a guy try to fit a crazy, huge sandwich in his mouth is entertainment that's bound to cheer you up in case you're in a pissed mood.
