He didn't die, he took the midnight train going anywhere.
At the tender age of 13, you were busy bunking school for the thrill of getting drunk and high
Then 3 years later, you quit school with aspirations of becoming a famous actor
Though surely an intelligent being such as yourself should've known that a dream like that was a long shot
The childhood you lived was certainly a laborious one but you managed to pull through it
And in the year of 2009, you appeared on our TV screens as Finn Hudson
The high school quarterback dating the captain of the cheerleaders
However, we already knew your deep dark secret of singing and devotion for Rachel Berry
But that's the thing about being an actor
You've given the chance to lose yourself within other people and it's extraordinary
Four years later, you are still here; on the show telling some douche bag to "stay away from your future wife"
And you were right and still are because she'll always belong to you
Overcoming obstacle is a challenge, but you've proven the courage to show that it can be dominated
The addictions that you trounced upon with the loving support of your fans, family, and true love, Lea will always be your greatest achievement
Nonetheless, it seems like it wasn't enough because your loss has created several heartbreaks
Especially to the ones that you've left behind
Your loss was clearly a surprise to the nation of Gleeks and everyone else
Of course, time will heal all wounds but how long will it take because it's a tragic thing to see your true love
Wear "Black" instead of "White"
To say "Goodbye" instead of "I do"

"I don't want kids to think it's OK to drop out of school and get high, and they'll be famous actors too. But for those people who might give up: get real about what you want and go after it." Cory Monteith

Relationships are a lot like flowers. If you find the right seed, put it in good soil, give it water and sunlight, bam. Perfect bud. And then comes winter and the flower dies. But if you tend that garden, spring will come along and that flower will bloom again.
"No one knows me better than Cory.
'No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything.
'For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. 'I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." Lea Michele
