Dear Mandela,
You've given the world so much and in return excepted nothing. You spent 27 years imprisoned in Robben just because of your beliefs I know that we are a bad and ignorant bunch however in times like this you see several nations come together as one. We've come together for you, Nelson. The day you were given back your freedom, you went back to your mission. You've moved mountains that not even a thousand men can move. You were chosen for great things and have accomplished them; though we feel like you still have so much to teach us.
In some ways, you've been like a father to the world, an inspiration and a brother. Not many rise up after their falls, but they aren't you. Nelson, you've conquered the world, which isn't something even the greatest of men can do but you've done it. Some of us wouldn't be here if it weren't for you and your fellow civil rights movement brothers. Even the ones that despised you in the beginning, now yearn for your well-being.
To see you in a condition like this is truly heartbreaking for millions of people. Our only wish is that you get well, so that you can continue to live amongst us guiding us onto the right path. People like you are very rare on this tainted earth. Thank you for all that you've done and we hope to see you in high spirits very soon!
